Our Story

Hello, We are the proud owners of Blacksburg RV Park. We love to travel and have been coast to coast in our own RV. 

Ammy is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and relocated to the Midwest following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. In recent years, she has worked as a travel nurse before ultimately deciding to make South Carolina her permanent residence. She still works as a nurse and is always especially excited when travel nurses come stay with us.

 

Meanwhile, Josh's roots can be traced back to Arizona, although he spent his formative years in North Carolina. It was there that he crossed paths with Ammy and they have been inseparable ever since. Josh made the decision to sell his restoration company and travel with her accross the country. He now runs a mobile RV repair business.

 

After discovering our shared passion for travel and love for RV life, we were compelled to pursue our dream of owning an RV park. We love to tell our travel stories as much as we love to listen to others tell theirs. We are so excited to welcome you and be a part of your next adventure!
